Inside one of London's most prestigious venues hides a breathtaking space with a stunning backdrop. As part of the Natural History Museum, the Earth Hall offers an intimate dining space for smaller groups looking for a high-status venue.

Opened for events in 1996, the Earth Hall has become increasingly popular for corporate entertaining, offering a modern and dynamic setting for a dinner or drinks party with a difference.

Guests are welcomed through the arched entrance hall to enjoy a glass of fizz amongst the imposing statues at the foot of the fantastic elevated globe.

The Venue and Décor

Beneath the enchanting constellations your guests will dine in a magnificent setting. Striking beams of light shoot up the 18ft slate walls, which detail the planets and a starlit night sky. This futuristic and versatile space can be used in a variety of ways so you can dance to the sounds of our incredible DJ amongst some of the museums most fascinating artifacts.

With an award-winning caterer and experienced event management team in place, an evening at The Earth Galleries will feel magical and luxurious and truly out of this world!

starter

  • Fillet of salmon, pickled mouli, Asian dressing and coriander shoots
  • Tarte fine of roasted tomatoes and mozzarella, nicoise olive tapenade, field greens and basil vinaigrette (v)
  • Buttered chicken and roasted fig salad with sesame croutons, roquette and honey dressing

main course

  • Sauteed chicken with lardons, baby onions, wintergreens, fondant potato and thyme cream sauce
  • Confit leg of barbary duck with rosemary creamed potato, red cabbage, honey roast parsnips and duck jus
  • Roasted marinated portobello mushroom stuffed with a ragout of winter vegetables, glazed talleggio and romesco sauce (v)

dessert

  • A trio of desserts;
  • Chocolate and candied cranberry cheesecake with port and cranberry compote and cranberry biscotti
  • Sticky date and banana pudding with maple cream and almond frascati
  • Apple and cinnamon streusel tart with calvados mascarpone cream and cinnamon biscuit

Coffee with white and dark chocolate truffles
