Midnight in Paris - Christmas Party 2011


This magnificent converted church is home to the London Symphony Orchestra and provides a truly wonderful setting for a glamorous celebration in the style of Midnight in Paris.

On arrival, guests will be wowed by this splendidly lit church with glistening pea lights entwined in the wrought iron banister, enhanced by fabulous purple lighting throughout.

Once inside guests will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine. The blend of vintage style and chic decor will bring the magic and glamour of this romantic city to life.

Whilst enjoying your beautiful surroundings, guests will be wowed by our amazing silk aerial act.

At the call for dinner your guests will be served a delicious dinner (without a frogs leg in sight!). Following dinner your guests will be enticed onto the dance floor by our DJ playing all the classic party tracks to complete this fabulous evening.

Sample Three Course Dinner Menu

Starter

  • Beetroot and horseradish cured salmon with cucumber, keta caviar and blinis
  • Beef carpaccio, winter leaves, truffle oil and parmesan
  • Open tart of beetroot and mozzarella, pumpkin seeds and torn basil (v)

Main course

  • Roast sirloin of beef, horseradish potatoes, greens and roasted squash
  • Pan roasted sea bass, pea and courgett ragout and crushed potatoes
  • Cheese souffle with winter cress, green beans and basil oil (v)

Dessert

  • Christmas pudding panna cotta, bitter chocolate sauce
  • Chocolate sticky toffee pudding, clotted cream
  • Traditional English sherry trifle

During service, selections of dishes are served from a buffet point whilst the remaining dishes are served to the guests offering an innovative dining experience.

Savoury

  • Beef stroganoff, wild rice
  • Confit of duck, braised red cabbage and a blackberry jus
  • Tagine of chicken, preserved lemons, cous cous
  • Sticky beef salad on Asian vegetables
  • Roasted shoulder of lamb, leek mash, roasted carrots, red wine sauce
  • Salmon, cod & prawn fish pie topped with creamy mashed potato
  • Gnocchi with homemade pesto, pine nuts & sour cream
  • Asian salad with pea shoots and alfafa sprouts

Sweet

  • Winter berry crumble with vanilla mascarpone
  • Black forest torte, kirsch cherries
