Come join our noble court in this Christmas feast and partake of much merry-making.
Bring friend and colleague for there shall be abundant enjoyment of fine foods with ale and wines from an over-flowing cup served by wholesome wenches.
There shall be a pageant with knights, jugglers and magic and amazing feats of mystery and strength and pretty damsels and handsome knaves who bring the tales and tunes of yore that beguile and delight.
But hark, save thy energies for when the last players take their leave there is music, dance and much merriment till the early hours.
King Henry's Banquet
The Medieval Banquet Christmas party is one of London's most enjoyable evenings; the night is filled with fun and joviality in an atmosphere reminiscent of Henry VIII's court.
Located in the cellars of Ivory House which are situated in the historic St Katharine's Dock, just a few minutes walk from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
Feel the excitement as your host, Henry VIII, welcomes you and introduces a cast of colourful characters from England's past. From dancing wenches and court jesters to magicians and the incredible strong man, the amazing array of entertainers provide a breathtaking and magical display.
The Christmas party period runs from 1 - 23 December 2011, and to keep the party going there will be unlimited ale & house wine during dinner.

- Cream of Brussel Sprout with crispy Parsnips and Basil Cress
- Slow cooked, shredded Duck, Hot Potato Fritter & Sour Cherry Relish
- Half a Roasted Fowl with a Lemon, Cranberry and Almond Gremolata
- Roasted Potatoes and Honey Roasted Vegetables
- Warm, Spiced Fruit & Mead Compôte with Double Cream
- Warm Mince Pies

The Medieval Banquet is just to the east of the City of London and Tower Bridge, next to the World Trade Centre in St. Katharine's Dock. It is easy to get to by public transport (bus or tube) or taxi.
Tube
The nearest station is Tower Hill on the District and Circle lines (5 minutes walk). From the station, turn left and follow the underpass towards St. Katharine's Dock. Pass the Tower of London on the right. Carry straight on through the underpass and into St. Katharine's Dock.
Parking
Coaches and taxis can drop off and pick up on the East Smithfield Road just at the entrance of St. Katharine's Dock.
