We are thrilled to be hosting our fifth consecutive season at the city's most notorious event space, Old Billingsgate. Presenting 'Showtime' for the 2011 winter season, we have fused retro glamorous cinema features with state of the art, modern technology and contemporary furnishings.

At 'Showtime!' at Old Billingsgate this Christmas, the stage is set for another spectacular party filled with cocktails, glamour and some good old fashioned merriment!


Billingsgate Xmas Party

Guests will arrive at the red carpet entrance to enjoy reception drinks in the VIP 'backstage' bar. At the call for dinner, Create Food and Party Design will provide a delicious banquet followed by our absolutely amazing band - 'Mad Hen' - who will ensure your guests are up on their feet and go away with fabulous memories of a resplendent 2011 Christmas bash!

Sample Seated Dinner Menu

Starter

  • Goats cheese mousse on toasted croute, pea shoots, red pepper, parma ham
  • Tarte fine of red onion marmalade, kalamat olives and tomatoes with rocket and feta cheese (v)

Main course

  • Roast breast of herb marinated chicken, braised root vegetable, baby mushroom and onion puy lentil fricassee with green beans
  • Gnocchi tossed with roasted beetroot and parmesan shards on a ruby chard (v)

Dessert

  • Chestnut yule log with spice wine cream and griottine cherries

  • Seared Thai salmon on lime fried rice
  • Bangers and mash - Cumberland sausages on leek mash with red onion gravy
  • Wild mushroom risotto with parmesan and pinenuts
  • Mozzarella, Parma ham on rocket and basil, honey mustard dressing
  • Roasted Mediterranean vegetables with rocket & garlic salad, toasted ciabatta & shaved parmesan

Sweet

  • Festive Yule log with chocolate frosting
  • Sherry trifle and cream

During service, selections of dishes are served from a buffet point whilst the remaining dishes are served to the guests offering an innovative dining experience.

  • Saturday 10th December: £99.50 + VAT per person
  • Thursday 15th December 2011: £114.50 + VAT per person
