Christmas Party Entertainment and Theming

This years thrilling entertainment entitled 'The Last Kill' sees two finely toned men clad in stunning ancient Grecian costumes battle it out over a seductive damsel with a highly skilled performance that combines capoeira with dance to dramatic music.

Christmas event spaces will be adorned with classical Grecian ruins, wild foliage, ancient gods and stunning water features.

Choose from a variety of exciting menu options to suit your eating requirements. These include canapés, bowl food, a fork buffet and a 3 course meal.

Canape reception, hot:

  • Chorizo sausages with a pepper fondue
  • Caramelised red onion galette (V)
  • Jerk chicken skewer with coriander yogurt dip
  • Lamb kofta with a red current and mint jam
  • Vegetable spring rolls with plum sauce and black sesame seeds

  • Bresaola and gorgonzola involtini with young roquette

  • Sliced quail breast marinated in hazelnut oil and honey with pear chutney
  • Roasted artichoke, dried cherry tomato and olive puree on toast (V)

  • Classic roasted vegetable stack with a soft goat’s cheese centre and a roquette pesto (V)

  • Lamb rump on fennel au gratin, fondant potato, confit shallots
  • Fillet of beef on a wild mushroom truffled cabbage parcel with thyme parmentier
  • Grilled cod on confit salmon and dill cannelloni, tomato coulis and vine tomatoes
  • Corn fed chicken breast on a chorizo mash with pan fried baby leeks and a cannellini bean broth
  • Roast loin of pork, root vegetable timbale, crackling and an onion and bacon purée

Directions

By Road

Vinopolis is located on Bank End, not far from Borough High Street, which is easily accessible from all major routes. Please note that Vinopolis does not have a car park, the nearest NCP is London Vintry Thames Exchange on Bell Wharf Lane off Upper Thames Street, EC4R 3TB.

Overland Train

London Bridge is the nearest over ground railway station. Exit the station and proceed straight down London Bridge Street until you reach Borough High Street. Cross over the road and turn left continuing on Borough High Street until you reach an exit for the underground and Natwest bank. After Natwest, turn right down Stoney Street past Borough Market. Turn left down Park Street immediately before Monmouth Coffee, follow the road around until you reach the main visitor entrance of Vinopolis on your right.

Tube

London Bridge is the nearest tube station (Northern and Jubilee lines). Exit via the Borough High Street West exit. Once at the top of the stairs take the first right down Stoney Street. Turn left down Park Street immediately before Monmouth Coffee, follow the road around until you reach the main visitor entrance of Vinopolis on your right.

Great Halls

With its beautifully restored Victorian arches, original exposed brickwork, high vaulted ceilings and oak wood flooring, the splendour of the Great Halls is immediately apparent.

One of the City's most sought after event spaces, the Great Halls can accommodate up to 750 guests. With its own private entrance offering a foyer and a professionally managed cloakroom, the Great Halls is a diverse and versatile space. The arches lend themselves particularly well to tiered events that involve both a dinner and reception, utilising the natural partition between the dining and entertainment areas, allowing ease of set up and flexibility. Mezzanine Spaces

The mezzanine blends aspects of both contemporary and traditional architecture with original brickwork, and an impressive wood beam ceiling complete with sky lights which provides an abundance of natural daylight. Mezzanine Capacity: From 100 - 450 guests

The Gallery is a fresh, contemporary space with white washed walls and high ceilings. With the option to add partitions, the space is ideal for Christmas parties as it provides a flexible blank canvas that can be tailored perfectly to suit the particular theme.
